  1. Yes and no. I did find a WONDERFUL doctor for my sister. When I interviewed the doctor and asked what she thought of statins, she said "LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!" That said, I stated my concerns and she agreed to take my sister off not only the statin but 4 other Rx meds she was on. I'm happy to report that my sister is doing MUCH better. Even the new doctor admitted that she is much more alert and animated. I'm not sure I want to publish this doctor's name online without her permission, but let me know if you would like me to send it to you, and I'll see what I can do.

  2. My doctor – Dr. Edward Linkner – is very supportive of low-carb. You would have to request to be a part of his practice, as he takes the holistic approach.

  3. Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner! It looks like you found his info. He's amazing! Understands all about type 1 diabetes (which I have) and the connections between diet, hormones, etc etc.

  4. Hey, I found this page when I searched for Dr. Charles Lucas Ann Arbor:

    http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-charles-lucas-2s8f9

I think he moved to Detroit.

I called and the lady said she did not know if he was previously in Detroit, but that while he was a general doctor, he was also a surgeon, and was only practicing surgery now.

This was the new address given:

    University Surgeons
    4160 John R St Suite 615
    Detroit, MI 48201
    (313) 745-4195 (Office)

Does anyone know if the Dr Luckas in Ann Arbor has the middle initial 'E'? The surgeon in Detroit is "Dr. Charles E. Lucas, MD".
